We use both Creative Space "Laserbox" for quick and easy cuts and engraving but I mainly use "LightBurn" for more complicated engraving and cuts and I find that "LightBurn" in general is not as sluggish on our Laptop.

We have had the this engraver now for just over a couple of months now and it has been a learning curve of what can and can not be engraved or etched, cut on different products from wood to plastic or aluminum etc...

Then there is learning with the software and that is "LightBurn" and while sometimes we will use "LaserBox" "LightBurn" is way more complex to learn however it dos so much more in the design phase as well as setup and cutting/engraving phase.

At this stage I call it "Crawl, Walk, Run" and I am still crawling, I haven't even started to use the “Rotary RA02 Pro roller" as of yet and I hope to try this out when I start walking.

 

Xaria Creates product tag etched and cut on the xTool D1

I just started playing around with leather on the xTool to make Xaria's product tags which to be honest came out pretty darn good.


Just a quick video of the xTool D1 10 Watt Laser etching clear acrylic... the trick put a black piece of paper behind it. I am going to try different colours but off the bat the black worked.

The right one is vinyl cut the left one laser engraved... the top laser engraved and cut then word "Welcome" painted in to enhance it...
